Bringing pattern to a hallway with a runner
A runner gives a hallway a clear visual line and brings colour into a space that can be difficult to furnish. Start with the usable route through the hall.
Measure width and length
Leave a visible border of floor along both sides. Check door clearance and make sure the runner lies flat and stays secure on your flooring.
Choose the right footprint
The collection includes 60 × 180 cm and 80 × 300 cm runner options. Mark the intended position on the floor and check that doors and everyday walking routes remain clear.
Let the hall set the tone
A patterned runner can introduce the colours used in the rooms beyond it. Try one repeated accent in artwork or a console display, keeping the rest of the hall simple.
